Itinerary:

Depart: 24 April 2021 to Kathmandu, Nepal

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu. Hotel Accommodation. Our representative will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel. We will be shortly briefing about the upcoming trek and other relevant information.

Day 02: Half day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Hotel Accommodation. After breakfast at the hotel, we will start sightseeing of the capital of the country. Historically and culturally rich, the city is a blend of history and art. We will spend half the day sightseeing the valley and prepare for the trek starting the following day.

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara (828m) 6- 7 hour, Hotel Accommodation. In the morning, we will start our drive to the magnificent valley of Pokhara, the lake city of the country. Scenic drive, you will have views of the hills and the Himalayas, alongside the fast-flowing white water rivers perfect for rafting.

Day 04: Pokhara to Nayapul (1 070m) and Trek to Ulleri (1 520m) 5- 6 hour, Tea House Accommodation. We start on our trek by driving approx. 2 hour to Nayapul. This place is a gateway to various other treks like ABC, Khopra Danda Trek, Mardi Himal Trek and other in the region. Passing the villages of Birethanti, we will trek to Ulleri, gaining an altitude of 500m.

Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (2 880m) 6- 7 hour, Tea House Accommodation. We will trek to Ghorepani today, the place full of beautiful Rhododendron forests. We will trek 6-7 hours today. Ghorepani, sitting peacefully and beautifully among the Himalayas, closely situated to Poon Hill, a popular hill station with panoramic views of the Annapurna Region.

Day 06: Hike to Poon Hill (3 210m) and trek to Tadapani (2 630m) 4- 5 hour, Tea House Accommodation. Early morning, we will hike to Poon Hill to watch the astonishing views of sunrise and the golden mountain peaks. The hiking trail is packed with stairs worth the peak views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu and many more from the top. After the sunrise, we hike back to Ghorepani and have our breakfast. We will head out to Tadapani. The trek is very scenic. We will have glimpses of the Rhododendron forests, floras and faunas of the Annapurna Region.

Day 07: Trek to Chhomrong (2 170m) 5- 6 hour, Tea House Accommodation. After breakfast, we gradually descend from Tadapani to reach the Kimrong Khola with views of Oak and Rhododendron forests. We will have our lunch at Kimrong Khola and ascend for 1-2 hours to reach a ridge leading to the village of Chhomrong. Chhomrong is the gateway to Annapurna Sanctuary.

Day 08: Trek to Himalaya (2 920m) 6-7 hour, Tea House Accommodation. We will start our 4-5 hours long trek for the day after having our morning breakfast. We descend to the Chhomrong Khola and cross a suspension bridge to start an uphill trek to Khuldighar (2 380m). We will cross an Annapurna Conservation Area (ACAP) check post. We will go up and down hills and cross bamboo forests beside the river to reach Himalaya for the night halt.

Day 09: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4 130m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3 700m) 5- 6 hour, Tea House Accommodation. An hour of walking from Himalaya will take us to Deurali. Then we climb gently through a river bed before an accent over a steep trail that leads us to a mountainside of Bagar.  The hike from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp might be a bit demanding. We get excellent views of the majestic Machhapuchhre along with Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharva Chuli and Gangapurna from Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC). From Machhapuchhre Base Camp, we will head out to Annapurna Base Camp. Forested vegetation, which is the hallmark of the ABC trek, disappears on the way to ABC from MBC. The trekking trail to ABC from MBC also widens. After trekking for 1.5- 2 hours from MBC, we will reach Annapurna Base Camp. From Annapurna Base Camp, we will get some of the staggering views of the south face of Annapurna towering above us and savor panoramic views of the Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and other peaks.

Day 10: Trek to Bamboo from Machhapuchhre Base Camp (2 310m) 7- 8 hour, Tea House Accommodation. After enjoying the beauty of the mountains amidst the sunrise from Machhapuchhre Base Camp in the morning, we will make your descent back. We will trek back from the same trail as we came from. Today’s trek is mostly downhill quite easy. In addition, we will still be able to catch glimpses of some extraordinary landscape.

Day 11: Trek to Jhinu Danda (1 780 m) 5- 6 hour, Tea House Accommodation. Initially, we will have to trek uphill until we reach Kuldighar. Then, we will trek downhill to Chhomrong Khola and continue to trek uphill through stone steps for about an hour before reaching Chhomrong. The trail then descends to Jhinu Danda, where we will spend the night. We go to the hot springs and enjoy a shower there. The hot springs is merely half an hour downhill trek from Jhinu Danda.

Day 12: Trek to Naya Pul then drive to Pokhara, 6 hour trek and 1.5 hour drive, Hotel Accommodation. On our way to Naya Pul from Jhinu Danda, we get to enjoy the amazing hilly landscape of the ACAP region. We will hike along the side of Modi Khola for 4-5 hours before reaching Birethanti. This will be one of the most pleasant walks of the trek. The day’s trek will be mostly flat. After trekking for 1.5 hour from Birethanti, we will reach Nayapul. A 1.5 hour drive from Nayapul takes us to Pokhara. 

Day 13: Leisure day in Pokhara. Hotel Accommodation. Leisure day and you can spend the day on your own. There are different things to do here like boating, in the Phewa Lake and strolling around the lakeside, enjoying views of the Himalayas. We can as well arrange for your sightseeing of the city.

Day 14: Fly back from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Hotel Accommodation. We will fly back to Kathmandu from Pokhara after breakfast and have lunch in Kathmandu. We will arrange a farewell dinner after completion of the trek.

Day 15: Final departure. Our representative will drop you at the airport as per your flight arrangements.
